Pico de Gallo Salsa

How to make Pico de Gallo salsa.

Quick, easy, colorful pico de gallo salsa that the entire family will enjoy.

I started out making pico de gallo when my garden tomatoes hit full production this summer. It quickly became a recipe to double and even triple batch. A single recipe, left unattended at the ranch may not be around to see the meal it was made to accompany. And holy cow! Who knew my kiddos could inhale vegetables that fast? My youngest just goes after it with a spoon.

Homemade pico de gallo also fits within the parameters of “clean eating” and “whole30”. Win, Win!

It’s the “Ta-Da!” on planned meals using beef prepped in advance. Add pico de gallo to tacos, nachos, tostadas, quesadillas, protein/veggie bowls and salads. Set it out for kids as a nutrient packed after school snack.
